Ok...i have a 93 gt with the crappiest sound system. stock speakers up front-blown. sony xplod speakers in the rear, but they have NO bass.

so i bought a 12" kicker comp. sub. Also will be buying an amp soon. Will this be enough for good bass right now, or should i go ahead and buy a 2nd sub? and i'll be replacing all the speakers later on.

the head unit is a sony xplod ipod radio.

and about the box...will a wedge box get a good sound? and should i use plywood or mdf?
