Default Remote Starter for the Mustang

I'm planning on putting a Python 872 Remote Starter in the future. Which bypass do I need or what is the better one to use? I went through eBay and there is a lot of them that does the same thing. I'm confused as to which one do I need can someone help me?

here's some links to some bypass kits:

you can save some cash in car audio getting the gear you need online and then installing it yourself. Security is not one of those areas and I would really invite you to go to your local dealer to get an alarm.

Believe me I want to do it myself, but I've never done this before, and local car audio shop is charging me $259. WTF why would I pay that much for someone to install something that takes 6 hours. I've been googling and really could'nt find any website that has instructions on how to install it on a 04 Mustang. I've seen some where did manual transmissions, but I have an automatic. I pretty sure everything is self explanitory if I read the book. I did buy the remote starter off eBay thats why I was asking about the bypass module.

it will take them 6 hrs, it will take you a minimum of a day(start early), and maybe more. I started installing security after I had been installing full time for almost a year with a trained expert over my shoulder helping me to not make any mistakes. A good alarm with a bad install in the best case scenario may leave you with a stolen stereo or car, the worst case scenario is that it/you could do some significant damage to the vehicle to where it will not run or run safely. You will be splicing into the most critical wiring in the vehicle and if it is not done correctly it could lead to blown fuses, burned wires or bad modules. Obviously when this happens you will be out much more then the $259 they want, and then the embarrasment of going to the shop after everything is fixed as we can always tell when an alarm was attempted. To do it correctly you will need to know how to corectly diagnose the wiring meaning you need to test EVERY wire before you connect to it make sure it is correct.

Security if not for the faint of heart at all. Even if you have done all of your friends stereos I would really recomend going to a security specialist if you do not have someone there to help you. I/we can't do much on the net after the fact and it is hard for us to stop you from messing something up and it is alot easier to do this on an alarm then on a radio install.

I'm not going to try anything then since y'all put it that way. Guess I'll have to save it for later, but still which bypass should I use. That way I'll have everything ready before I go to the shop.

I have not been working for a few years so I am not up to date on the modules. I would really recomend getting as much of the gear for the alarm as possible from the shop so it will be covered by them when they install it.
