Post 98 Stang Battery Drain

I've got an issue with a power drain. Checked my grounds, etc... I've got a 1.0 cap and 2400 watt amp (2 1200watt 12" subs) and a 300 watt amp (2 6 inch mini subs). Double and triple checked wiring and the battery will be dead in around 8 hours. The Cap shuts off after 2 minutes like it's supposed too. Any ideas??

No, wired to remote antenna, off stock stereo. double checked does not stay on after car is off. the cap will stay on for about 2 minutes after shut off, but that's it...

Pull the fuse on the power wire see if it still goes dead.....if it still goes dead then it not your amp. It is something else in the car.

Battery new or old, have you had the battery check out?

battery is about a year old, last one had a dead cell. And the amp goes dead if the fuse is out, if i pull the mater power fuse for amp and cap, the battery doesn't go dead.. Wondering if the Cap is screwy..
