cadence amp

hey guys i have a cadence amp and every time i turn it on the protect light goes on ive tried disconnecting the amp ive made sure its all hooked up right i was curious if u guys had any ideas on how to fix the problem thanks

Do you have it hooked up to sub(s)? How do you have the sub(s) wired to the amp?

You may have a blown speaker.... Try to diconnect the sub(s) and turn the car back on and see if the protect light comes on.

yea i got it hooked up to a jl w6 well normally its not hooked up to anything right now cause its not working but it would be great to not to have to go out and buy a hole new amp right now

oh forgot to answer the question yea i unplugged the subs its not the sub i hooked that up to one of my buddies amps and its fine lights still on

it sounds like the amp is gone i have seen that happen to amps b4 and some of them wont come out of protect

yea thats kind of what i was guessing to i wasent sure if there was an easy fix to it or if the easy fix was to just buy a new one haha oh well looks like im getting a new amp yay new stuff
