Just wanted to see if anyone knows the mounting depth on the 07 mustang gt w/ the shaker 500 lower door woofers..thanks in advance

 

I dont really know the exact mounting depth but from the look of this thread it is only a few inches....

thanks Gtredfire03 reason I'm asking ...found a Focal 8 " full range[50-20k response] that is 3 and 7/16 deep seems if the factory sub only goes down to 50k then it would be a decent replacement and give a much better sound overall..using atrunk mounted sub also..also replacing the amp too

 

Well the pioneer used in that thread has a depth of 2 1/2" and he also made an 1" spacer....If that may say anything....Glad I could help

^ yeah but can you be alittle more helpful then "some major reshaping".....if you know the factory depth give him that atleast...bc i dont know the depth and that is what he asked for....come on.

 

off hand i dont remeber its written down somewhere, you will prly need to get a heat gun out and try to reshape the enclsoure, its an odd shape
