At my local stereo shop they have a set 0f 15's in a ported box for like $369 does that sound a little high?

Is it a pre fab box or did someone there built for those woofers?

its a ported box built for the subs and there lightning strikes and its $368


there boxes run $129 for sealed and $188 for ported

From what I found I guess there lightning audio subs strike series.... I dont know they still made them, I also believe there are made by Rockford....

I guess that is a good price, I found the subs for around $60 each just search around online. I have a feeling that is just a pre fab box they are putting them in and not something they custom built/ tuned for them... will that box even fit in your trunk?

That Kenwood amp will under power them....I would look for a mono amp for those subs, most mono amps are stable at 2 ohms brigded.

ok im back from the shop i bought a sealed box for $60 and ordered two subs from the audio shop and they said my box is perfect for them and the amp is good for now but i need a bigger one the subs are dual 4 ohms and they are diamond D3's

ok now i need a good amp for them...any suggestions? links would be nice also...looking for a pretty cheap amp that will give me my moneys worth out of the subsid like to do a 4ohm sub bridged and get about a 1000 watts to each sub

Did you order 2 subs?

If you got 2 dual 4 ohm subs...... You will want to look at a 2 ch amp or a mono that is 1 ohm stable....

You may want to invest in some dynamat, so you dont rattle off that R spoiler you got going on there.....
