Yeah the subs are good, just make sure you get a good amp for them.....A shi*ty amp will make good subs sound sh*tty(same goes for the box).....The spoiler, I was just being a smart a*s....

what size amp would be good? and would i run it bridged for these subs?

How you wire the subs to the amp will depend on if you go with a 2 ch or a mono amp...... Well each sub needs 500w so an amp around a grand you want...... What kinda of money you wanting to speand on the amp?...

Here are some mono amps, 1 ohm stable......the 2nd amp isnt as powerful, but sonic has a about 40 or more amps with the power and price you are looking for....

ok so even though there dual 4ohms i wanna run them off a mono amp at one ohm?

Yeah bc you will parallel each sub which gives you 2 ohm on each sub. Then parallel to the amp which gives you 1 ohm at the amp.....

Your installers should know what there doing there.....

im the one doing the install there just wiring up the subs in the box im hooking the amp up and everything.....thanks for answering all my questions....and when i look at the amp ratings should i be looking at the 1ohm rating the 2 or the 4? man i feel stupid because ive never messed with anything except 2 channel amps that were bridged ive never messed with a mono amp in my life
