Default Will This Fit In My 02GT?

hey guys, i have an 06 F-150 FX4 pickup with a 6-disc in it and i was wondering if that factory unit will fit in my mustang because my 6-disc mach indash is messed up and wont play cds. I would like to take the unit out of my truck and put it in the car and get an indash dvd/cd/navigation combo for my truck. Let me know what i can do.....thanks guys

Why not just tape a road flare to your 2nd set of your 6 favorite disks?

No it will not work unless you 1st cut the dash bc the factory Hu in the truck is bigger then what is in a 02 mustang. 2nd you will have to make/ fab up some sort of mount to get the Factory Hu of the truck to mount in the mustang......The mustang mounts are at the bottom of the Hu and the truck's Hu has the mounts on each side....The only mustangs that you f150 hu would be an easy swap with would be a 2005+ mustang....

You can get the correct harnesses to wire up the hu in your mustang, but in the time and fab you will have to do, would it be worth it....NO! Dont waste your time.

alright, i just didnt wanna buy a different head unit for the car which is why i was gonna put the one from the truck in it. The CD port is screwed up on the MACH system so ill just buy an Alpine headunit and put it in. Anything special i need to do to keep the stock system working right?
