Default Mustang Stereo help!!

I just bought a new pioneer stereo for my 2000 Mustang so its now making the CD player below it useless and there is no use for it. Any ideas on what i should put there in its place?

Default How about???

What if i bought a universal din with the 3 gauge holder and put in gauges like this one i found on ebay?

My main question is do you think that these 52mm gauges would fit and if so look good in that spot?

You can get a replacement pocket for that area from Ford. (Assuming they still make it.) The universal one is usually an oddly proportioned afterthought.

The OEM Ford one is the way to go.

I have one in my 98 after having the universal setup. I'll never go Universal again if I have a choice.

Thanks yeah i think im going to go for that one a little pricey but atleast I know that it will fit without any issues. I think im going to get the glow shift gauges with the pillar and everything afterward its really not a bad buy $149.99 for the whole kit!

to be honest I have never had an issue with the universal pocket, it would depend on what brand you get. I used metra mainly and always had good luck with it. I think the factory pocket is $35-40 compaired to $20. It isn't 2x as good.
