OMG.... I can't believe they don't know the BIG3! its just like every car audio shop where in my town they don't know either they would rather suggest using a capacitor which a total joke and don't you think about buying one either! Its probably why your alternator died caps don't do anything but add extra strain on the alternator

How many amps are the stock alternators on our cars ? I have the 2008 and doind some research and coming up blank ... Must be half decent though this is the first vehicle I have owned with a sound system that isn't blinking my lights !
