I am replacing my door speakers in my '95 stang and have put them in successfully but there is the white plastic mounting piece that the speakers goes in on the door and it rattles a bit. I was wondering if these plastic mounts come off so i can dynamat them. Please help. Thanks!

 

Why not just form the dynamat around it? Keep it mounted in the door a put the dynamat over it and around it, make it kinda all one with the door...Bc that is what is rattling right, the plastic on the mental of the door?

 

Yes its the plastic that goes on the metal that is rattling. I will try that. thanks!
