First off, I have an 01 GT Bullitt with the Mach 460 system. I am installing a Pioneer head unit. When i got inside the dash, I found a mess of wires I wasn't prepared for. It has the two factory wiring harnesses, which Im guessing is normal. The smaller of the two, which Im guessing is the control for the factory amps?, has been spliced into and the harness is not plugged in to anything. Instead, they have some sort of rca adaptor hooked into the smaller harness. I played with this for a while, and I cant get the amps to come on at all. The speakers all work when I hook them up normally(as if there were no amps) with the 4 speaker wires. Do i just need to buy new wiring harnesses for my aftermarket? I need a simple wiring diagram for the two stock harnesses. Ive never wired something with the factory amps with this config.
