Running 2 Amplifiers
I am going to be getting 2 more after market 5x7's for my car in a week or so. I have 2 JL TR570-CXi speakers in my doors.
1st question is should I run a RCA wire from my current amp, it has RCA in/outputs on it, or run a new set from the HU?
Ill be putting a splitter in the power wire to power both amps. And I guess Ill have to do the same for the remote wire.
2nd question, will running 2 amplifiers be hard on my cars charging system? if so I should probably be upgrading the big 3 at the same time.
Current audio equip: 2 MTX Thunder 4500 10", Sony Xplod amp running 600w RMS, JVC KD-AVX11 CD/DVD HU, 2 5"x7" JL TR570-CXi, 1200w Scosche wiring kit.

adding another amp will do great things for your electrical system and should net you another 5-10 hp(depending on the amp) as well as another 1-2 MPG.
You need to check the outputs of the amp. Amps often have x-overs built into them and the rca outputs are x-over to what ever the amp is not playing. If your deck has the outputs it only takes 15-20 mins to run the cable.
