i replaced the 6cd mps in my 2006 f150 lariat with a an oem navigation unit. my son's v6 2008 mustang had only the single disc mp3 stereo so i swapped out the head unit for him to give him the six disc. i actually have 2 problems to discuss.
#1- his head unit (the old truck unit) only lights up the radio station, no other buttons or *****???? any way to restore or rewire the plug to get the lights on?
#2- the nav unit in my truck has the subwoofer "not enabled". The wires are in my truck for the sub and i have purchased a sub unit but it won't come on, i am assuming this is because the sub unit is "not enabled" in the radio. any easy way to fix either of these problems? thanks in advance for any help!

what kind of navigation headunit is it? and as far as your son's mustang with the 6-disc headunit goes all the wires aren't the same as the f150 so you might have to the run a voltage meter and get a wire diagram that what I would do
