I decided not to do the HID kits for my mustang because our police department here in scottsdale is very picky with these.

What brand has the best replacement bulbs that gives brighter, whiter light out put and the bulbs are not short-lived?

I heard/read that Sylvania bulbs are very bright but their lifespan is very short.

Any suggestions, opinions, etc. would be great!

 

I just moved from gilbert and worked in scottsdale but never heard of a problem with the lights?

 

This guy, dave c. who works at the collision center (where my car is now), told me he wouldn't do it because scottsdale is picky on them. Also, he told me that one of the workers at Ford who had a mustang gt with HID kits got busted and he had to take it out or sell his car...

 

Then you get a "fix it" ticket or warning. It may require an inspection. So if you have a kit like ours that doesn't require cutting the wiring like the cheap kits, it super easy to just remove the kit temporarily and pop in the stock bulbs for inspection. Honestly though, even in Cali we rarely hear of a problem. 3 people this year we heard about out of the tens of thousands of kits we sold.

 

That's in California though; I'm living in Arizona....
