I am thinking about buying the Kenwood DNX5140 in dash navigation system. I have a question about the installation though. A couple websites give free installation accessories, but the accessories are different on the two.

Both sites list that I need an antenna adapter and a dash kit.

But sonicelectronix.com says that i need this:

So, can I use either one or will only one of them work. There is a huge price difference between the two, which is why I am asking.

go with the 10 dollar harness and add the 5 volt regulator and you will be set (its in the stickys/faq)

also dont forget metra 40-cr10 antenna adapter
