Is there a way to hook audio input to my shaker 500. It is a bad *** system, but I can't find a way to hook up mp3's. Any input would be great

 

what year would help but ill assume an 05-08 pac makes an add an aux harness

 

google: external audio jack for ford shaker 500 and you'll get your answers including a How To or just go to the local installer and tell them what you want. There are plenty of places on your dash to mount permanently. Ford dropped the ball on this one, sorry to say!

 

yeah.. 05-06 got hosed. Only 07+ have the aux input already installed. You will need to buy an aftermarket part, or the one from Ford to install aux input. It's pretty pricey.

 

Try either the PAC AAI-FRD04 aux inpit or the UPAC-FRD24 ipod/aux.Its upgradeable with a HD tuner,Sirius tuner or we have the bluetooth a few weeks away.
