Kenwood Software?
I recently installed my dad's old Kenwood DDX6019 nav screen into my mustang because it had been just sitting in the garage. By doing this I lost the ability to hook my ipod up through the aux jack in the console, so I have an ipod connection running straight from the back of the Kenwood unit into my glove compartment.
Anyway, to use my ipod I have to sort by artist or album with the on screen menu, which is rather lacking. I know this unit is a few years old, but damn the on screen menu looks ancient. It doesn't work well and is inefficient for listening to music. Is there anyway I can update just the software? Isn't that what's controlling the entire unit?
Thanks!
