i have a 12" kicker l7 sub and i am just wondering if i will be able to get the sub in the back of my 1996 mustang. i dont want to take my rear seat out. i also have the mach 460 stereo so i think i am just going to run the wires and have a shop mess with installing my alpine 9830 head unit and my amp. any suggestions on what to do with putting the sub in? does anyone have box plans? i thought about maybe selling the sub and getting 2 10's if it doesnt fit.

Yes, you can fit it in and going to a shop is a bad idea. You can install the amp yourself and save a couple hundred bucks. Same with the head unit. If you need help installing i will walk you though it. It is simple and you will be proud of yourself when it is done.

 

You can fit it no problem, just have a custom slanted box made or make it yourself

 

it shouldnt cost you a couple hundred bucks I got my amp installed for 75 bucks...
