Default weird noise?

I recently installed a new head, subs, and amp in my car... now when i turn on the car, the door speakers (from what i can tell they are the only ones) make a weird noise, kind of like a staticky pulsating hum... but if i don't turn on the car... and only turn on the radio(turn key towards driver), the noise isn't there. A guy at work said in his opinion i have a grounding problem of some sort, is he right? If so then what do i do about it... and if not then what could be causing this noise.

Thanx guys

Yep thats what it is, you have a bad ground... Are you running the fronts with a amp or just to the headunit?

Unless the stock speakers have an amp... then i am running them with the head. I had to take the dash stuff off today to fix my ac tunnel thing.... so i looked at how the head was wired up... i think the guy that did it hooked up the head grouding wire to the same cable as the door speakers... could this be causing the sound? or is it normal to arrange the wires like that... if this is the problem... how can i fix it... in other words where do i attach the grounding wire

Try using a different ground for your head unit...DO NOT USE THE STOCK GROUND FOR YOUR OLD DECK! Also if you are running multiple amps make sure they're grounded seperately(Don't use the same bolt. If that don't work try this link http://www.termpro.com/articles/noise.html
