Default Need some help with alpine IVA-W505

Ok..so this is my first head unit install and I'm having a good amount of trouble. Everything seems to be fine except for the fact that I can't view videos at all, once i hit play I can hear the music and or voices but no picture shows up. I called alpine on the matter and did as they said which was to wire the ylw/blk wire to the power side of the brake light which i was told would be the connector behind my pedal so its wired in to a grn/red wire. Then i was also told to ground the ylw/blu wire on the parking brake ground which is a blk wire. With all this done and the sequence they gave me (which is hold foot brake then move the e-brake on off on and let go of the foot brake.) i still have no video. Also my setup menu consists solely of audio setup. If any one could please help I would greatly appreciate it.

you need the PAC TR7 to bypass the video. If you dont want to spend the money, you could use some toggle switches to emulate the foot/parking brake sequence.

funny enough if you had the brake hooked up you wouldn't need that module. All you need to do is pull the parking brake and tap the foot brake 2 times.

Does it sound ok or is the bass real weak and muddy? Common problem with an easy fix....
