Default static issue

got 4 alpine spr-13c in my car run off alpine 4 channel amp.
when i have the volume turned off or down on my deck(pioneer avic-f700bt) there is still static coming through the speakers slightly. is this normal or could there be a problem that needs addressing.

**not sure if the static is still there when i turn it up because the music would drown it out.

try turning the gain on the amp down a bit and see what happens.

no thats common with the AVIC-F series turning the gains would help a little but the problem would still be there you might have to get some noise filters

HP = high pass = all high freqs that would go to a mid/tweeter pass through, bass is stopped
LP = low pass = all the bass freqs that should ONLY go to a woofer pass through and treble is stopped.

For full range speakers, if you are not using a sub you will want to not use any cross over as then nothing will be playing bass. IF you have a sub then flip all the rest of the speakers to HP so that they can play what they like, and the sub can do its job.
