Default Just replaced yesterday!

Just took the Mach 460 system out yesterday.
What i understand a new head unit will not match up good with the mach wires. I ran new wires from the head unit to all new speakers.
I put a Pioneer avh-3200bt head unit, 5x7 EFX speakers (all four the same),
added a MTX 1000XD amp and two MTX TR 75 12s.
Sounds great. Changing everything was a pain!!

Id like to know the size of the factory amps as wellm as if you can fit after market amps in those locations, you could make a pretty stealth stereo install.

Did you take pics during your install?

ok forget everything he said about decks not working in mach systems. This is a common misconception that I have been trying to fight for some time. Page 2 of my cardomain page shows how to put a deck in a mach system and it is fairly easy.

Now to replace the speakers you would need to bypass the factory amps but that is also easy to do when installing a deck. I would recomend replacing the deck first, then any speakers.

bulldog - if you replaced the factory 8ohm woofers with an aftermarket 4 ohm full range driver hooked up to the factory amps they should be shutting off any time now...

i have a new power acustic head unit... but they cut my amps out... i was pretty pissed to find out that there is a harness that lets you keep all mach systems in place... im going to go to the audio store and try to get my amps put back in... and see what upgraded speakers will go with my mach system
