I picked one of these up off someone this weekend. I'm not too familiar with car audio equipment, but when I set it all up, the last thing I did was hook-up the power feed from the battery to the amp. Although I have 13.4V (tested at the amp's power terminals) while the car is running, the power LED on the amp does not illuminate and it does not show any signs of working. I also tested this before and after running the remote wire, which didn't change the results in any way.

The guy I bought it off of had it running in his mustang with the mach 460 stereo, which is what I'm currently setting it up to run with. I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting this since there is power feeding the amp, but no indication that the amp is working.

 

check for power at the remote wire.If you have power there with a good ground, then the amp is dead
