Need help with an amp
If you want a budget amp to give you 500 watts @ 2 ohms, this one would work out decently: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu..._MRP-M500.aspx
Edit: This is another decent sub amp: http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductC...&idproduct=380

I didn't get to see it last night cause the guy couldn't go but I texted him and asked if he could text me the exact model and everything, he said "Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 series 12 inch dual voice coil in a custom sealed box it handles 2000w".
Also, it turns out that my receiver might be able to hook up directly to the sub without an amp so I could do that for now and then once I have more money get a good amp... Cause really even that $170 one would be kinda tough right now.

Hmm for a P2.....not a great deal by any means but decent. You can get the same sub/enclosure brand new for 50 bucks more. But 50 bucks is 50 bucks so if it's in good shape, it's an ok deal. Link to new-

Also if it's a P2 it's 500w max and 250w RMS, not 2000w. So don't go nuts gettin a 1000w+ amp later on when you get the cash lol.
