What are the best replacement speakers for the ENTIRE shaker 500 system? Including all speakers, tweeters, and the door subs...

Ive heard that the Image Dynamics XS-57s which go for $499 are the best for the 5x7 speakers.

Also, is it possible to get the best, keep the stock head unit, and just have an amp? For numerous reasons I want to keep the stock head unit.

 

yes it's possible, i think they should have the adapters so u can that by now. they run about $30

 

what are your goals wants and budget

you want the best, yet you want to keep the stock headunit this alone will never happen

go with a 6.5 component up front, forget the 5x7

 

Why not? Cant I give the speakers enough power through an amp/capacitor? And I would say about $500 per speaker. Not speaker set.. but each speaker is my limit. So if there are 6 then 3k if there are 8 then 4k. I just hat how unnatural non-stock head units look.

 

4k on speakers and still wanna use the stock headunit... throwing money away

 

Any other head unit wont look natural though.. right?
