Thumbs up I now have Satellite

Bought the car a few weeks ago, was Satellite ready (Nav)-- but no Satellite module or antenna.

A quick call to Crutchfield and $240 bucks later (of which $30 I'll get back with a mail-in-rebate) I had the parts.

wired it up myself. Works great!

Peripheral module (makes it work with factory unit) is wired up and placed behind the ac controls, and the SCC1- universal Sirius Module is wire up beneath the console (just behind the cup holders. (Where it can't be seen without removing the top half of the center console) I also ran an aux cable from the peripheral unit, beneath the center console, and through the pass through opening in the arm rest portion of the center console, for ipod connection.

All in all it was pretty straight forward.. The toughest part was getting the plugs unclipped from the ac unit, lol.. That and doing the work outside in 100 degree texas heat, in a black car, with black leather interior.

So happy to have my talk radio back! and commerical free music.

Any tips for disconnecting that AC plug with the gray lever? Never did figure out how to disconnect that

lol-- that one sucked..

Unplug all of the others first, pull it to the passenger side, flip over, you will see the release part on the bottom of the plug. Then the lever pulls down.

Yeah they wouldn't give me a "deal" though.. I paid full price, A few months ago when I renewed my XM (in a different car)-- I asked for the $77 dollar / 1 year special. And they gave it to me.

Oh well.
