ok so I already have 2 500 watt subs, the picture is below, could i put 2 8" or 2 10" on the left and right and mount the amp next to the existing one, it would be moved up for room, and yes the wires are now hiden, i want more bass =], also i plan on getting new 6x8's or components? any recomendations there? they would be put on a 4 chan amp as well.

FIrst thing i would do is get some better subs and amp. I have 2 10" L7 Kickers and a 1000 watt Phoenix Gold small block amp.This is more bass then i need. How does is sound now?What kind of bass are you looking for?

 

it sounds pretty good i have to admit, some rattles but thats just my lazyness which i plan on fixing in like 20 min, haha i kinda want like oh geeez bass, i like techno and KMK so bass is amazing XD, the speakers im replacing cuz im afraid of blowing the stock ones, would 8 or 10 inch subs be over powered by the 12s? or would they add to it? i dont have a lot of knowlege about sound systems, also is my alternater going to be able to handel this?

 

buy a single 12'' JL sub

you don't need anymore bass than what that is capable of putting out, get some good pioneer speakers as well and you'll be set

 

mixing different sizes of subs is not recomded and is a tuning nightmare. If you want more then I would sell those and get something bigger or better rather then adding onto it.
