Default Rattling door speaker + new speakers

Hey everyone,

I have a 1998 Mustang GT Convertible. It has the Mach 460 sound system in it. I also installed a Kenwood KIV-700 headunit.

However, now the passenger door speaker rattles. The rattling stops whenever I put pressure on the plastic grill covering the speaker. I am wondering if there is any way I can fix this?

Also I am interested in renovating the speakers on my car. In particular the door speakers, including the window ones, and possibly the rear ones. I just dont know what makes a speaker good/bad. So can someone help me out? I dont know much in this department.

for example, what's the difference between these two:

thanks,
DMD

The 5x7/6x8 is you door speakers. Crutchfield has great customer service and will send you everything you need. The will also send you detailed instructions. If you have never ordered from them lmk and ill give you a code for $25 off for new customers.

So what should I look for in a speaker? I dont know anything about speakers

Say I wanted to completely upgrade every speaker in my car with good sounding ones, preferably Kenwood, what would I need? I have the 460 so I would also need subs and rear speakers and possibly amps?

And yes I order all my car electronics from crutchfield, theyre great
