Default Bass makes rear view mirror resonate!

Does anybody know how to take apart a rear view mirror on a S197? I want to add some dynamat to help with the mirror resonating badly when I crank up the bass.

I had the same issue with the side mirrors and all I did to resolve the issue was dynamat the whole backside of the mirrors.

Should be the same I think(1st and 3rd pic). It´s held together with tabs if you look at those pics. Perhaps a trim tool would do?

I got mine apart, but via the brute-force method. Took some major clean-up work once done as I busted 2 of the tab holders on the smaller front trim piece, and made a bunch of indentations from the flat-head screwdrivers used to pry it apart. Really don´t wanna do it my way.

You'll probably need to brace the windshield to keep a mirror from resonating completely.
