My front two speakers/subs are going out on my shaker 500 for my Mustang. Wondering if I can just replace one or both with just factory speakers. Do I have to have shaker speakers, or what else could I put in there?

The subs are 1.2 ohm dual coil speakers, they are not worth replacing , imho. If you use good 4 ohm single coil subs, you'll need to replace the amp too. Its not that big of a project, it will start about 500 bucks.
