Same thing I was thinking, lol. The Scosche kit puts the METRA to shame IMO.

 

I went with the schosche kit. It is really nice. The alpine 'perfect fit' looks exactly the same minus the little indentations on the DIN opening. Posted some pics on another forum http://forums.themustangsource.com/f...pgrade-510830/

How did you get the sync screen to say Mustang GT?

 

It did it automatically.....

 

Yeah, if everything is plugged in correctly it will show mustang or mustang gt. I've seen where in some instances it just said "DVD". I did not do my own install, instead i let my brother do it, he is a stereo/alarm basically any type of customization specialist. I just purchased the parts.
