1994 Mustang Factory CD Player
I own a base 1994 Mustang convertible, and I want to add a factory CD player to it. I am not interested in aftermarket since I think it wreaks the original look in the interior. The CD player goes under the radio; there is an empty bay under it for one. The CD player in the 94-2000 runs as a slave through the radio. The problem is the fact that the car has never had a CD player and therefore there is no harness for one behind it.
The CD Player itself is easy to find on eBay, even the grey audio cable that runs from the CD player to the radio is not that hard to find. The thing that I cannot find anywhere is the power splitter cable. The cable plugs right into the car, and it then splits into two ends a red plug for the CD player and a grey one for the radio. In another words the CD player and the radio share the same power cable.
The problem is at some point Ford decided to separate the power for the two, so they would no longer share the same cable. My ’94 does not do this its needs a splitter to run the CD player. I have tried junkyards but they are no help since they have no clue what I am talking about. I have tried eBay and Google and nothing. Also in ’94 CD players were not standard, so that makes it even harder to find the cable.
Does anyone know of a place on the Internet where I can find this cable and they will ship to Canada?
It is almost like this cable does not exist but it does, but I have a picture to prove that it does;

AS far as your yard diving is concerned, it looks like you're just going to have to get dirty and walk a few yards and find yourself a 94-early '00 that has the Mach system in it and pull according as you need it. Those guys that work there aren't going to have a clue so you'll definitely just have to acquire it yourself by pulling it with your own hands. As opposed to Ebay, it's likely you could pull all the Mach wiring this way from front to back for a lot less $ than someone selling the cables on Ebay.
