Thanks guys. Sounds like I can use the rear speaker leads then. Now do I use all four leads from the rear speakers or just one or just two? sorry for all the questions but you have been really helpful so far. thanks.

 

I don't have the wiring diagram for that unit, typically they'll use all four speaker leads. Wiring the correct polarity will make a huge difference. (plus to plus, minus to minus) You'll get a wiring diagram with the unit that will give you the details.
