Default Mach 460 - aux kit

Here is my 2nd question for the day. I have a Mach 460 audio system with 6 CD changer. Is it possible to install an aux input adapter kit or something like that?

If so, what do you recommend and ideas for installation.

Thanks in advance.

is the 6-CD changer in the radio, or is it a remote box somewhere else in the car?

Look at Blitzsafe. They make many aux input adapters for Ford and I am using one on my 05 GT connected to my old ipod clip. Works great and the sound is better then even CD's played through the head unit.

Thanks Alan. I found one on ebay. Some posts that I have been reading say that when you press the cd button it needs to say no cd ore dj for the adapter to work. Mine just says no cd. Will it still work?

I'm not sure it will work for the 6-CD radio. Those adapters need an external changer (CD-DJ in old Ford lingo,) they break out the audio wires from the changer to the radio to let you connect your own music source. The external changer needs to be there or else the radio will ignore that input. And I don't think the 6-disc radios supported an external CD Changer at all.

your car is not wired for an external audio input. Pins 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 of the middle connector are unpopulated so there's no external changer support. I don't think those adapters will work for you.
