I know this may sound like a stupid question but what do I have in the back of my 97 GT with mach 460 audio? I look in the trunk and see an amp on each side and a big black box in the middle.... anyone know stuffa bout the stock setup let me know!

You have a componet set in the front, 6x8(5x7) in the back decklid and then the Mach amp system. And the all insane difficult wiring interface.
