Question Bluetooth Connection for Stock 2004 Mach 1

Hi. I've been looking for a bluetooth connection adapter. I have the stock 6 CD radio. The only ones I've found seem to interface through the antena instead of through the CD like on some other cars. Has anyone found any good adapters?

Thanks.

Phil

If you have an AUX port, they have BT devices that plug into that.

There is no BT adapter that works through the CD....

I have yet to see one of those with a CD on the other end, and not an AUX plug...

Thanks. It does not have an aux plug. For the CD integration, sometimes they make a new harness that plugs in the back and you select CD on the front panel to play, which gives better quality than playing over the FM radio.

Thanks. Phil

I have a Flexsmart BT adapter that plugs into the cig lighter in my 2003 Jeep that doesn't have an aux jack. It is an FM modular so it plays over the radio. But I have never had any real issue with it, other than, on long drives, having to occasionally change the station that it is broadcasting on when I come into range of a radio station using that freq. It is easier than installing an aux jack, but it isn't as crisp sounding sometimes. But that can be overcome by changing the frequency.

Thanks. I ended getting one of the FM type adapters--seems to work better than the ones I've bought before.

Thanks.

I put an OnStar FMV Rear View Mirror in for my BT phone connection. Rather than pay
MUCH more than $23.00 for an OE replacement, the OnStar FMV is a much better
mirror, and well, was only $23.00, brand new:
