how can you suggest anything with out knowing what kind of power he has and how much room he has for a box and were to get a box if he cant build one and if he cant build a box there is no manufactured bandpass box worth buying.

So how much room do you have? how much power do you have at what ohm? and what amp do you have?

Finally, some replies. I'll gladly tell you what I have so I can get your suggestions. I have a 98 Mustang, so I dont have much room hight wise, but thats a decent amount. I currently have a 4 channel 800 watt Phoenix Gold, and I realize that isnt the best for running multiple subs, but I may have a 2 channel here soon to run the subs and the 4 channel to run my other stuff. I cut some holes myself and fitted speakers.I'll try to get a decently powerful amp for the sub runner, like 1000 I guess, right? Keep in mind I'm on a budget. The only reason I am doing this is I bought my current subs(2 10" Jensens) for 80 and I can get rid of them for 100(for both), so I'm getting some money here soon. My amp is 4 ohm but maybe I could get a 2 ohm for the sub runner? Hopefully that wont jack up the price alot.

So now I guess I need to ask, what would be a powerful sub for around 200 at 4 ohm( or 2 ohm if I get a 2 ohm amp)?

And, what 4/2 ohm amp would you suggest to run it?

please never mention audiobahn those are some of the worst you can get. for a great budget sub that dosnt need much power id check into the alpine type R get 2 of those and bridge your the front of your amp for one and bridge the rear part of the amp for the other. get the dual 2 ohm and wire each one in series ( i can show you how to do that if you dont know) and if you get another 2 channel amp use that for front comps. or if you get a mono amp get one that produces about a 1000 watts like a hifonics which is great for budget systems. all that stuff you can find of ebay.

those type rs are great to get pretty loud but sound pretty good at the same time.

Shut up Newb! How can you come to this forum and start throwing ego around like you got something? Also check your sentence structure before posting anything; it makes you come across as stupid! (most questions end with a question mark). Stop throwing your opinions around as if they are the only ones that matter. And lastly, show some respect for other users of this forum.

I don't need to answer to you as to why I would suggest anything - let alone try to justify it!

Yet he has offered more advice than you have so forget about the question mark....
