Default Amplifier help!!!

ok i have 2 10"MTX subs installed in my car, i just hooked up the amp, red pos wire to the fuse to the battery, blue remote turn on wire to the turn on wire behind the deck, and the black ground wire grounded to the frame, the amp is getting power because the red light is on and the subs are on but very low, i fiddled with the settings... nothing seems to make it louder, i dont kno if its running off my deck or not but it shouldn't be because its hooked up right to the battery, can some help me or tell me what to look for?

What kind of amp is it? I have seen some amps that the led light is suppose to be green. If it is red, that means there is a problem with current or load or something.

Do you have a model number? One of the amps I found searching for Kingwood has multiple lights for power and protection.
