Weird stereo movement?

Weird stereo movement?
I didnt know what kind of title to make for this thread, thats the best I can do^. Well, my car used to do something and then it went away but it did it again the other day so I thought I would write about it. Shortly after I installed some stereo equipment, my car was "lurching" wierdly and the only thing I could think that was doing it was the stereo stuff. When your driving down the highway and giving it gas its ok, but when you let off the pedal, like 2 seconds later it does a motion as if you downshift too early and it does the lurch. But, its not that dramatic, its a very light lurch. I thought maybe it was something to do with the alternator but Im not sure at all. ANy ideas?
