i bought a used 98 stang and i just bought a sub and an amp from a friend. i looked in my trunk and there are all the wires there to hook up the amp except for the RCA wires. i dont know why someone would run all those wires and then just take out the RCA's but they left everything else there for me.(remote,power,ground, and wires for 2 more speaker). it has the stock stereo in it, its not the mach60 i dont know what its called, its the whole stereo/tape dck on top with the CD player on bottum deal, i was hoping someone could tell me if i even have the RCA pluggins in the back of my stock stereo or if i am going to have to get a new deck. someone said i could take the stereo out with coat hangers....that didnt happen for me i tried for about an hour with those stupid hooks and its all still in there! i really want to get this sub working so if anyone has some help let me know.

 

they probaly used those speaker wires for the high level input on the amps because it has a stock deck.
