I'm trying to replace the door panel speakers in my 96, but am having trouble removing the door panel. This car has crank windows, so can not figure out how to remove the crank, then the panel. Any one able to help? I would really appreciate it. Thanks

 

there might be a screw on the handle or you need a tool to remove the clip. then take the rest of the screws out of the door and push straight up on the door panel and itll slide up and you can pull it off.

 

Thanks. I just looked, and I don't see a screw. It is a plastic handle with a plastic gromet right up against the back side of the crank. I can't push the panel away from the crank to expose any clip or anything. Maybe as you said, looks like it may take a special tool. I was sure hoping not.

 

if ur still having probs ill look at my manual when i get home,its pretty simple but i have p/w,p/l so im not sure about the handle...prolly a simple clip or screws to undo behind it like sinister said..

 

not to jack this thread but what size are the speakers in the door?
