Default Enclosure design idea?

Ok, I had an idea but no one should be allowed to do it but me. Well, anyways, when I was young and ignorant*cough* I came to acquire a highway sign. You know, one of those huge 8'x8' green reflecter ones? How awesome would it be to get sub boxes and then put that stuff on the outside?

I thought it would be a good idea too. Its a bit scuffed up so I might just have to stumble upon another one somewhere. It would match my car lol and wouldnt it be bitchin with diamond plate trim to cover the corners?

Actually, when I was thinking of a design for my trunk, I thought about making a decent size box to house my amps in and have a hinged door with plexiglass on the top. Is that ok?I mean, it shouldnt do anything to heating or what...That would look awesome like that with the green and diamond and plexi....

Heck yeah...I think that would look awesome! If you acctually get to fabing it up you could send it to like Audiobahn or some other company and sell them the idea and make a little money. And since I thought of selling it, how about a 40-60 split J/K lol. You could even put some diamond plate or green sign on the amp? That'd be cool

TIG weld it all. But the heat shouldnt matter if your ganna trim it with diamond plate, that would cover the heat affected zone.

I meant heat from the amps. If its in an enclosure i didnt know if it would warm up a bit.

Actually, they make L shaped diamond plate for corners and would only have to weld it in a few places or just use liquid cement...

And if you found a cool sign, you could have the words on your box.
