Anyone ever heard......?
Hello all,
Been lurkin awhile and finally have a question to ask. Have any of you actually been in a car that has one of those bass motor things installed...<sorry i don't have a better description> . I've seen them called Bass Shakers and Visteon calls theirs "Bass Audio Sensation". Reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to figure out what to do as far as bass is concerned in my convertible. I usually run 2 12's or such in my previous cars but with the trunk being so small in this car......I would have a box built, but I need what little space i have for vactions and whatever travel I will be doing. So its either running 1 sub in a smallish box that i can remove if need be or something like what i'm asking about above.
So, any input on those devices or maybe a single sub that would be good to run.....? to tell the absolute truth guys i like my bass clean but i really like to feel it to, so i guess i lean more towards the SPL type stuff. Thats why i'm doubtfull about having just 1 sub, ones i have had never seemed to fill out quite enough for me. But once again, most of the subs i've had have been "Best Buy" brands as i've saw it referred to on here
All recommendations are welcome though, most of you guys prob have alot more experience with this stuff than I do.
Thanks very much,
Bug
Oh, will be run with a Memphis PR 1000/1 which i already have.

Thanks for the reply,
I looked on JL site and that does seem to be a very nice sub. Although it says that they run at 3 ohms? Thats beyond my realm of experience and don't even know if my amp would work with this? Memphis only has power ratings listed for it at the 4, 2 and 1 ohm levels. Please forgive my ignorance on the subject.
Thanks,

Thanks for all the advice guys. Those of you that have experience with the W7 subs. Is it worth getting another amp to run one? From what I've read they are supposed to be great and everything, but I'd hate to spend all that money to get something that is marginally better than, say, somthing nice that I can run off the amp I have.
