i have two single somewhat sealed boxes for my 2 12s...i had the bright idea one day to screw a prolly 1-1/2 inch hole in the back of each of em to let em breathe a little,Im not sure if it did anything for sound.

My brother put 2 infinity kappa perfect VQ 12 inchers in his 99 cobra. He had to build the box INSIDE the trunk tho, because there was no gettin it in once it was all put together. but it worked.

Go with the 12's. I built my boxes out side and then put them in the trunk. It was a tight fit but I got them in. And they do come out, I just dyno matted the trunk. I should have don that first[:@]

ya its pretty easy to get a couple 12"s in a mustang. just dont have them like mustangmike01 cause that will cause cancelation. i have 2 12"s in my 91 hatch in a custom box and it looks pretty decent.

I had to put them like that. The boxes needed to be 1.75 cu.ft. for a closed box . I put them on anlges so they realy do not cancelation each other out. They both face the top of the trunk so the sound waves to not hit each other. I know they look like they do but they do not. I was hold to put them like that and I asked the same question.
