im runin a 92 notchback stang and the factory radio wont work so i instaled a sony gtx220 and the player reads failure manual for the player states that this means theirs a problem from the wiring to the speakers how hard is that to fix?

 

It depends if it came with a factory amp. If so it is probably easiest to rewire your speakers. I might be going out on a limb here, BUT if your competent enough to install the Head Unit then you should be able to rewire your speakers fairly easily. Although rewireing the door speakers can be a pain, its not that bad.

 

You probably just have a wire crossed somewhere or grounded out. First check out the wiring right behind the head unit

 

well instead of dealing with the wiring in the package (major PAIN) i purchased the converter from ford factory to sony head so im kinda sure its not that close in. but ill check anyway tnks.
