I have two tens in a plain black speaker box in my trunk and it just kinda floats around back there... When I take turns, I can hear it bouncing around in the trunk!! lol..... I know thats bad.. What can I do to secure it?? My amp is nicely strapped to the back of the backseat in the trunk but what can I do about the speakers back there? I want to make something myself, to where it wont cost that much. Any ideas??
Thanks
Oh yeah - Your guys' speakers look so nice!! Wish I had some fancy ones!

yeah i had 2 12s,well i still do but not in my stang, and i have them in two individual boxes, and i was going to sell them but i might just wait until i have money to waste on a custom dual 12' box to fit in my trunk,i went to one of those shows usually at the fairgroudns around here that have sales on all kinds of (cheap) car audio and tried 4 different boxes and none of them fit,i still havent decided for sure if i wanna buy some 10s for this dual 10 box i got or just keep the 12s and try n get a custom box for it........is 125 watts x4 a good 4 channel amp to run to speakers? cuz i have pioneers (3 yrs old, when they were "cool" if they ever were) and i think they are 225watts max a piece, and i dont like how the 50x4 makes em sound....?
also...very nice kicker setup

Well custom boxes arnt that much, mines costing my $100 + tax, i would keep the 12s, mustang girl as for your box sliding around you can get a medal (or 2) bracket (s) bolted to the top of your box and bolted to the roof of you truck, otherwise put stuff on both sides of your box, backpack, cloths etc.
I might just go to a car audio place and see what they can do for me and for how much.... Im sick of it!!
Also, how can I reduce the rattle/vibration from the bass?? I hate the way it sounds sometimes... I put padding under my license plate and plate frame which reduced it about 50% but theres still alot of rattle. Is it because the subs are sitting on the floor of the trunk?? Should I bolt the box to the body in the top of the trunk?? Would that reduce rattle??
Thanks

you need a some sound dynamat for your trunk it helped my rattling somewhat.a local shop should sell dynamat i use stinger road kill its like dynamat but 10 times better but no matter what you willl never stop all of the rattling and bolting the box down wont help your rattling

Ill post all the specs and stuff later though
