my amps power wire came disconnected and touched on the outside case, and now it doesnt work. i have power to the amp the light doesnt come on and it makes nop sound nada where do i start trying to find the problem i never worked on electronics before! its a bostwick ma-280x

id start by opening it up and see if there is a fuse in it. mine have 2 fuses inside.

check the inline fuse from the battery to the amp


edit-just noticed you said you had power going to the amp

Yea, definitely start checking fuses. Its probably the fuse inline towards the amp. The one closest to the battery.
