Default Alarms?

Is there any alarm that works the best with the foxbodys, or is a viper alarm fine?

It shouldn't matter an alarms an alarm, I mean yeah some have more features than others but as far as what brand etc, itll all work the same. I'd go with a Viper they make some of the best alarms, I have the Viper 791xv, and I love it, I had an audiovox before and it sucked, so an answer to your question go with a name brand alarm like viper

viper alarms are the best to go with, most of the time if you buy one from a dealer it will include installation. also viper (dei) alarms have a lifetime warranty on their product while others like audiovox only have a 2 year warranty. and if you are going with remote start and you have a manual transmission i strongly suggest that you are the only person who works on your car, i did it on my 96 cobra and it took off into a wall, oh well, got a 99 cobra now. hope this helps

I wont be going with a remote starting one. Does anyone have a sound clip of what the alarm sounds like when locking and unlocking. This car has been my dream car since I was about 5, so I am really picky, I will problem end up putting in a viper alarm with a porshce siren.

i have a viper remote start/alarm ..its pretty cool..i dont like how gay the alarm sounds (u know the little song they all do where they cycle through like 8 different patterns of alarms)......but the remote start is awesome..but i guess u need an Automatic for that'

edit: also , when the door locks its just a single beep...and the warning that the alarm will go on if you touch it again is three short beeps

You can change or remove any parts of the alarm cycle by cutting the loops on the circuit board.
