Default manual rack ?

I think I saw on your site that a pinto style rack is available for one of your k members for a 05-09 mustang . I am wondering if you sell or can direct me to a kit that has every thing needed to convert a 05 mustang to a manual rack without swapping the complete k member ?
thank you for your time.

Im not aware of a company that makes a manual setup for the stock k member. Due to the size and mounting locations on a stock k member it would be very difficult to get a manual set up to work correctly and get the bump steer correct.

Ok Three more questions . Is your K member with manual rack road race worthy or is it more for drag racing only ? also what ratios do you have available. And what would It cost to get everything needed for your k member and rack swap and what is included ? thanks

The k member and a arms are definitely road race worthy but the problem lies with the manual rack. The turning radius with the manual setup is not as good compared to the power rack. The rack has only one ratio available 15:1. The k member is $499.95 the rack setup is $549.95. The rack kit comes complete with steering shaft, bump steer kit and all hardware to complete the install.

you are saying that from lock to lock is less than stock .is it a clearance issue or other ? are you talking one or two degrees or what ?

I have been looking at pinto style racks and the most travel I have seen is 5.25 inches but I ran across a Cobra/MGB Manual Rack & Pinion that has 6.25 inches . and it is the same brand as your package Flaming River and it is only 3 turns lock to lock . thats what I want ( a whole lot of feedback ) maybe you guys should talk to flaming river and offer a few more options . think about it because cobra vs pinto (which sounds better from a sellers stand point . just a thought. on their web site the pinto and the cobra look a lot alike . seems like with a few modifications to the k member the cobra one should work fine .

some people probably would not want a 3 turn wheel .but it would be a nice option for someone who loves excessive amounts of feed back . the drift crowd for one . me for another .

It seems like Flaming River would offer something in between. Thanks, I'll keep an eye on this thread and your website
